This policy covers Quail Egg Games' games and websites: A Tale of Light, Quasarball and DoggoDoku, and the sites quailegg.games, atol.games, quasarball.com and doggodoku.app.
The short version
Our games collect nothing about you. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. What you do in a game stays on your device.
Our games
A Tale of Light
Runs on your computer and makes no network connections. Your saves, party and settings stay on your machine. Deleting the game removes them.
Quasarball
Makes no network connections. Your high scores, settings and any boards you import are stored on your device only. Deleting the game removes them.
DoggoDoku
Collects nothing. Your progress, scores, settings, power-ups and the boards you draw are stored on your device only and are never sent anywhere. DoggoDoku also has its own privacy page at doggodoku.app/privacy.
Purchases
When a game is sold through a store such as Apple's App Store, the store handles the payment. We do not receive your name, your account details, your payment details or your address. For DoggoDoku's one-time unlock we receive only an anonymous confirmation from Apple that the purchase exists, which is what unlocks the game on your device. The store's own privacy policy covers the transaction.
Our websites
Our sites are static pages. We set no cookies and run no visitor analytics. Our hosting provider processes each request in order to serve the page, and keeps short-term server logs.
atol.games and quasarball.com count game downloads per day, in aggregate, so we can see whether anyone is playing. The counter looks at your IP address only to leave out our own test downloads and automated clients, and does not store it.
If you write to us we keep your email so we can reply. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share your address.
Children
Our games are suitable for all ages and collect no data from anyone, children included.
Changes
If any of this changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
